Ten authors. Your own pages. One honest answer.
We think we can make an AI keep a writer's voice. We are not going to take our own word for it, and we're not going to ask strangers on the internet either — they'd be judging a voice that isn't theirs, which is how you get a confident answer to the wrong question.
So we need you: someone with a manuscript, judging edits to it.
What you'd actually do
- Send two or three chapters of something you wrote.
- We generate edits and continuations of about five passages — some with our technique, some with plain Claude given the same chapters. You won't be told which is which, and neither will we while you're judging.
- For each one you answer two questions: which sounds more like you, and would you publish this as yours?
Roughly thirty minutes, in one sitting, whenever suits you.
Your pages stay yours.
Your chapters are used to generate your test passages and nothing else. They do not train any model, they aren't shared, they aren't published, and they're deleted when the study closes. Nothing you send is quoted anywhere without asking you first, by name, about that specific quote.
What you get
The full results before anyone else, including the raw numbers — and if the technique fails, we'll tell you that too, in the same detail. That is the likelier outcome and we'd rather you hear it from us than notice we went quiet. If it does ship, participants get it free for a year.
Why the deadline is real
This test has a kill date. If ten authors haven't judged it by 31 August 2026, the result is "we failed to run it" and we write that up rather than sliding the date to the right until the answer is convenient. We've done that once already this year, on a module we'd already built — this time the test comes first.
